Book Fair – Saturday, May 5, 10:00am-4:00pm
A Book Fair for children and adults will be held Saturday, May 5 (10:00am -4:00pm). Books will be available for browsing and purchase. This event will also include a luncheon at 11:30am for a $10 donation. Christian fiction writer, Vanessa Miller, will speak at 12:30pm. A “Rock and Read” read-a-thon for youth will be held from 1:00-4:00pm. Matthew 16:18 says, “And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The time came in God’s scheme of things for a new church to be organized. Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, Forrest Jefferson was given this charge. That time came on February 27, 1939.
