The Spirit of GIVING

  • To make gifts or presents and to offer as a pledge
    • Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, says the LORD Almighty. Malachi 3:10a
    • For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability…And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us. 2 Corinthians 8:3, 5

  • Essential Values
 We believe tithes and offerings are the proper biblical foundation for church financing here at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
 We believe that offerings are to be given above and beyond the tithe. We believe in regular and systematic giving. We believe that if one is not present on a specific Lord’s Day, he/she is still obligated to contribute.

 We believe in giving joyfully.

 We adhere to the fact that Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church is not a lending institution, but we are obligated to assist those in need.

 We understand funds are to be used for the purpose of advancing the causes of the Kingdom, ministries of the church, the building, grounds, and staff.
